Tiny Tin Lady: Official website

Welcome ridiculous bohemians! We are Tiny Tin Lady, variously described as ‘absolutely marvellous’—Robert Plant, ‘…a unique blend of roots honesty and rock sensibilities not to be missed’ and ‘a force of nature’—Simon Nicol, Fairport Convention. We would describe ourselves as an amorphous blend of music, mischief and delirium.
Siblings Danni and Beth Gibbins have been playing together since they were tiny tin children. Danni taught her human ways and the bass guitar. Sally Street was a world-renowned anthropologist sent to study the peculiar ways of the band until she too was absorbed into its mysterious amoebic form, never to be the same again. Our drummer and all round good-sort Aimee Smith was discovered living wild in deepest, darkest Wales and now provides a formidable force of cheeriness and cutching.

Tiny Tin Lady - Ridiculous Bohemia

Our main influences are Imogen Heap, Bjork, Sandy Denny, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, The Pixies, Tegan and Sara, The Bees, Jah Wobble, Fairport Convention, Gillian McKeith, changin boons, being loud, reggae, Relentless Inferno, Eurovision, biscuits, wetherspoons, eggs, glitter and each other. We love playing all over the place, but are particularly proud of touring with Fairport Convention and the Dylan Project, supporting Midge Ure and Jah Wobble, and playing Glastonbury in 2004 (yep, Beth was 12 years old) and Cropredy.
