Ridiculous Bohemia

When I awoke this morning, something wasn’t right
I couldn’t see the ceiling
So I got out of bed, put on my clothes and in my head
A man was screaming
I went downstairs and made another cup of coffee, cliché
I wrote a song about it, ordinary I must be
Ordinary I must be

Tried to remember what I’d done and where I’d been last night
My shoes are missing
God dammit they’re my only pair, how am I gunna make it to the bus
With my feet bare
I found some bunny slippers 3 sizes to big for me and
I still missed the stupid bus, Ordinary I must be
Ordinary I must be

Got to my favourite spot, set up and started singing
Mr Tambourine man
I stayed there until I had enough to buy a crate of beer
For the evening
On my way home a preacher shouted things at me and so I
I threw some water on them, ordinary I must be
Ordinary I must be

Woke up at midnight to the sound of drum and bass and then
My phone was ringing
You’d better get to your back door, 400 people maybe more
Are partying
And there it was in my back street, a rave with bunnies on my feet
We danced until the sun came up, ordinary I must be
Ordinary I must be

Ordinary is Ridiculous Bohemia to me
Ordinary is Ridiculous Bohemia to me
Ordinary is Ridiculous Bohemia to me
Ordinary is Ridiculous Bohemia to me
